This site is published by Team Hayden on behalf of Hayden O’Brien, a competitive sport shooter based in Košice, Slovakia. Hayden is under eighteen, so the site is run by the adults around him and all correspondence is handled by them.
The site exists for sponsors, media, clubs and coaches. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen without a parent or guardian’s agreement.

If you send an enquiry: The form asks for your name, your email address, the type of enquiry and your message. We use that only to answer you and, if it leads somewhere, to carry on the conversation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and the steps taken at your request before any agreement.
If you post a game score: The leaderboard asks for a name to show on the board and an email address. The name is published on the board. The email is never shown and is used only to contact the monthly winner about their prize. The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the box, and you can withdraw it by writing to us. Posting is open to people aged 16 or over, or younger players with a parent or guardian’s agreement. A one way scrambled form of your connection address is kept briefly to stop the board being flooded.
If you accept cookies: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which parts of the site people read, and the Meta pixel so that posts and advertising on Facebook and Instagram reach the right audience. Neither loads until you press Accept all. The legal basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.
If you choose Essential only, no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded at all. The only things stored on your device are your cookie choice and your language choice, both of which are needed for the site to behave correctly.
The site and the leaderboard are hosted by Netlify, which processes request logs including IP addresses in order to serve the pages and defend against abuse. Enquiry emails reach our own mailbox. Where you have consented, Google and Meta receive usage data as described above and act as controllers of that data under their own terms. Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, under the transfer safeguards they publish.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with sponsors or anybody else without asking you first.
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as the relationship is live and for two years afterwards. Leaderboard names and scores stay on the board for the month and in the archive afterwards; leaderboard email addresses are deleted within three months of the end of the month they were entered. Analytics data is retained for fourteen months. Cookie and language preferences sit in your own browser until you clear them.
You may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, object to its use, ask that it be restricted or sent to someone else, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to team@haydenobrien.com and we will reply within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Slovak data protection authority, úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, or to the authority in the country where you live.
The photographs on this site show Hayden at competitions and in training and are published with his parents’ consent. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking. Media may request a press pack through the enquiry form.
